Responsibilities

  • Conduct water sampling and temperature monitoring.

  • Inspect, clean, and disinfect water tanks.
  • Flush little-used outlets and descale showerheads.
  • Produce detailed legionella reports and manage onsite logbooks.

Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor – Birmingham, West Midlands. Salary £25k – £36k + Training + Benefits.

We are recruiting for a long‑standing Water Hygiene / Legionella company. Due to new contracts, we seek a qualified engineer/risk assessor to cover contracts across the Midlands to South Central region, covering Industrial, Commercial, Educational and Social Housing sites. Work will include risk assessments on hot and cold‑water systems and L8 compliance duties, ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.

Location focus: Birmingham, West Midlands and surrounding areas including West Bromwich, Walsall, Tamworth, Lichfield, Coalville, Leicester, Market Harborough, Corby, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Ludlow, Worcester, Solihull, Warwick, Great Malvern, Swaffham, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud, Cirencester, Royal Leamington Spa, Northampton.

Experience & Qualifications
