Company Overview

Our client are a well-established Water Treatment company offering a wide range of professional water treatment services to clients nationwide. They currently have a vacancy for a competent Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around the Aberystwyth area. Application from Ponterwyd, Tregaron, Borth and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience
  • Experience working as a water hygiene engineer essential.
  • A good working knowledge of the water treatment industry.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Competent with Microsoft office package.
Role
  • Monitor the client’s air and water systems ensuring compliance with the current Health and Safety legislation.
  • Carry out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
  • Temperature monitoring, routine sampling and analysis of water systems.
  • Install and maintain dosing systems.
  • Undertake remedial works as required.
  • Inspection and disinfection of CWST.
  • Servicing TMVs, shower descales etc.
  • Cold water tank inspections.
