As an Engagement Officer, you’ll be the face of this change; working with residents, businesses, and community groups to build understanding, encourage participation, and help create a cleaner, greener South Holland.

  • Can adapt to different situations and work independently and as part of a team
  • Are ready to take initiative and find solutions
What are we looking for?
  • Confidence speaking with a wide range of people, both one‑to‑one and in larger group settings.
  • Comfortable delivering presentations, workshops, or public engagement sessions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly and engagingly
  • A flexible approach to working hours (including occasional evenings/weekends)
  • A full driving licence and ability to travel across the district

No waste experience? No problem! If you have transferable skills and a passion for making a difference, we’ll provide full training.
