A local authority contractor in Lincoln is seeking a Waste Delivery Project Assistant for a full-time role on a 10-month contract. The successful candidate will support the delivery of waste infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Waste Delivery Project Assistant supports the delivery of waste infrastructure projects throughout Lincolnshire, ensuring the County Council fulfills its role as the Waste Disposal Authority effectively and within budget. This role involves managing the maintenance of essential facilities—including five Waste Transfer Stations (WTSs), eleven Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs), and five closed landfills—while ensuring full compliance with Health and Safety, CDM 2015, and Environment Agency requirements. The post holder acts as a technical lead, managing asset infrastructure plans, designing engineering solutions, and supervising construction sites to improve operational efficiency.
