Overview

The Warehouse Team Manager will support the site management team in the efficient and cost effective management of the warehouse operations. It will be your responsibility to ensure the smooth running of the daily Warehouse operation and enable the required level of service to be provided to the customer at all times.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the receiving, storing, picking and dispatch of goods in the correct manner to agreed productivity levels and within budgetary constraints, whilst maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.

Qualifications and requirements

• Working knowledge of the Warehouse function within the FMCG distribution industry, including understanding of the business and operational aspects of supervising a depot Warehouse operation.
• General knowledge of the Transport function would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead, train and develop colleagues.
• Strong computer skills and daily use of the MS Office suite for reporting and formal disciplinary processes.
