We are seeking a results-oriented professional with strong logistics experience who can help lead a team of over 20 warehouse staff effectively.

The Role

As Shift Manager, you will report to the Warehouse Manager, guiding your team while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Your goal is to ensure products are picked and dispatched accurately to meet essential KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate the shift team to achieve productivity and service KPIs.
  • Supervise Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives.
  • Ensure orders are processed according to customer specifications.
  • Maintain high health, safety, and hygiene standards; complete documentation accurately.
  • Deliver briefings to keep the team informed and engaged.
  • Oversee the goods inwards area for quick, damage-free receipt of stock.
  • Develop team members to maximise their potential and create a succession plan.
  • Handle disciplinary and grievance procedures as needed.
  • Monitor sickness absence and conduct return-to-work interviews.
  • Plan manpower effectively to optimise shift performance.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures diligently.
  • Ensure adequate training for health and safety representatives on shift.
  • Support management with ad-hoc warehouse duties.
Qualifications
