Responsibilities

  • Take delivery of goods and sign delivery notes.
  • Check goods for missing or damaged items.
  • Unload goods using trolleys or forklift trucks.
  • Stack goods in their correct places.
  • Maintain records of goods, usually on a computer.
  • Conduct regular stock control.
  • Occasionally sell items to customers.
  • Pick, weigh, or pack goods for dispatch.
  • Keep work areas clean and tidy.

Days and Nights are available.

Full and Part time work is available.


PAYE or Self Employed roles.

Paid on a weekly basis.

Weekends are available.

Starting with £19.50 hour on days and £22.50 hour on nights. Overtime and bank holidays are paid at £25.50 hour.

The Job

The Work

You could be:

  • taking delivery of goods and signing the delivery notes or receipts
  • checking goods for missing or damaged items
  • unloading goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift trucks
  • stacking goods in the correct place
  • keeping records of goods, normally on a computer
  • carrying out stock control on a regular basis
  • sometimes selling items to customers
  • picking, weighing or packing goods that have to be sent out
  • keeping the work areas clean and tidy.
