Overview

Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client - a main distribution centre for major high street supermarket focused on homeware products.

Subsidised transport available from pickup points in Leeds (LS8, LS10, LS11, LS15) - This is for the #removed# shift only.

Staffline is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives in Sherburn-in-Elmet.

Pay and shifts

• Rate of pay £12.71 per hour. Overtime is £15.89 per hour.
• This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, either on an 8 or 12-hour shift pattern.
• Hours of work include: 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am (4 on, 4 off). Applicants will need to have their own transport for these shifts.
• 7.30am–7.30pm or 7.30pm–7.30am (4 on, 4 off). Subsidised buses.
• Various 8-hour shift patterns may be available across a 7 day period. No transport.

Your Time at Work

• As a Warehouse Operative, your duties include: Goods In/Unloading; Put away; Picking (either manual or via automated functions); Despatch/Loading; Heat press shirt printing; Returns.
• This role will involve lots of manual handling and some heavy lifting up to 25KG.

Our Perfect Worker

• Our perfect worker will have accuracy whilst picking at speed and show good attention to detail.
• Good level of written and spoken English due to health and safety requirements.
• Applicants must be physically fit as there is a lot of manual handling and some heavy lifting up to 25KG.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
