Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking a Warehouse Operative/System Packer in Stoke-on-Trent. The role involves inspecting and packing computer systems, ensuring quality and timely dispatch. Ideal candidates should have a keen attention to detail, good time management skills, and the ability to follow instructions consistently. Warehouse Operative / System Packer

Location: Stoke-on-Trent (ST1)

Key role and responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative

• Perform final visual inspections of computer systems for quality and finish.
• Clean systems thoroughly before packing to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Carefully pack systems using internal packaging materials and box them securely for shipment.
• Work with the dispatch team to ensure all orders are sent out on time.
• Liaise with Technicians to prioritise packing based on daily production schedules and deadlines.
• Report any defects or concerns to the relevant team for resolution before dispatch.

Minimum requirements for the Warehouse Operative

• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Ability to follow instructions and quality standards consistently.
• Good time management and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move computer systems and boxes.
• Experience in a packing or quality control role is desirable but not essential.
• Hand scanning experience.

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour, PAYE, Paid Weekly.

Statutory Deductions for TAX, NI and Pension if not opted out apply.

• Mon To Friday 08.30 17.30
• Mon to Friday 10.00 19.00
• Mon to Friday 08.30 17.30 with a Saturday 09.00 17.00
