A leading international surface design company is seeking a Warehouse Operative to manage the samples process at their Distribution Centre in Enfield. Responsibilities include maintaining the efficiency of sample distribution, assisting with warehouse duties, and ensuring a clean working environment. We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Distribution Centre in Enfield (nearest train Ponder's End). The main responsibility will be to take ownership of the samples process. This includes organising and maintaining the efficiency of the samples distribution process. Ensure that samples requests via our hubspot are responded to in a timely manner and packaged for safe and damage free distribution, including lisaising with 3PL to arrange collection. Keeping the samples area neat and tidy, loading and unloading containers and trailers with heavily assisted forklift (after the successful completion of a 3 month probationary period we will provide fork lift training). This role will suit someone that works well as part of a team but is also adept in working within their own area and can manage/priortise their tasks accordingly.
Other duties include general warehouse duties such as assisting with all incoming and outgoing orders and shipments through the Warehouse, supporting with the provision of our premium quartz and porcelain countertops in the UK. Movement of stock and organisation of stock location around the warehouse, evaluating and reporting damaged stock.
All applicants must possess a valid driving licence as there is a requirement to drive a 3.5 tonne truck to assist with ad hoc deliveries to customers

This is a full-time role, working at total of 42 hours per week on a rota basis, between the days/hours: Monday - Friday 06:00-18:00 and alternate Saturdays 6:00 - 14:00
Salary £28K increasing to £29k after successful completion of 3 month probation.
