As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for:

  • Unloading/loading Vehicles>
  • Goods In - Visual inspection and acceptance of incoming material and packaging to ensure consignments are correct as per purchase order and quality requirements
  • Storage of material in accordance with material control and product preservation procedures
  • Inventory movements ensuring system transactions are completed accurately
  • Order picking and delivery of kits to production
  • Picking and packaging of items for despatch
  • Cycle count inventory to ensure accurate stock status
  • Ensuring externally stored material is suitably covered to prevent contamination
  • Work with Stores Team Leader to improve operating procedures to continuously meet customer expectations
  • Assist in stock take process according to company procedures
  • Comply with regulations and policies in environmental health and safety and quality
  • Participate in risk assessments and health and safety audits
  • Daily housekeeping of warehouse and yard area to ensure areas are clean and tidy

  • Experience working in a stores environment

  • Must be computer literate experience in the use of MRP systems

  • Counter balance forklift driving license
