WAREHOUSE OPERATIVES

SUNDAY - THURSDAY: 10PM - 6AM - GBP16.37 PER HOUR BASIC/GBP25.16 PER HOUR OVERTIME

OR

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 06.00 - 14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00 ROTATING WEEKLY - GBP14.22 PER HOUR BASIC /GBP25.16 PER HOUR OVERTIME

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based in the Alfreton, Derbyshire.

Day to Day Duties

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will be, but not limited to:

• Picking and packing customer orders for a supply chain
• Stock control
• Restocking shelves
• Accepting incoming orders
• Processing and packing orders
• Counting inventory and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner
• Maintaining a clean working environment
• You will have to lift and carry items up to 15kg
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Skills

Skills needed to be a Warehouse Operative with our client are:

• Basic level of English
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work well with others
• Be flexible and open to change
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Must be able to speak/read a certain level of English
• Must pass a basic English & Numeracy Test
• Must be physically fit and able to lift items up to 15kg
• Meeting demanding targets and performing tasks to high standards

Desirable Experience

Desirable experience needed to be a Warehouse Operative with our client is:

• Experience working in a warehouse would be beneficial
