Here at GXO, we are recruiting for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our Iceland team at our ambient site in Swindon. As a Warehouse First Line Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring and driving efficient operational performance, whilst maintaining strong communications with the on-site management team. This is a full time, permanent position, working an any 5 from 7 rotating shift pattern of, 07:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 23:00.

What Youll Do On a Typical Day

• Lead a team of colleagues to operational success in our temperature-controlled warehouse
• Set daily and weekly KPIs and ensure that these are always being met and exceeded
• Maximise productivity and improve quality in order to grow your team
• Lead HR requirements in relation to investigation, disciplinary, grievance and absence management

What You Need To Succeed At GXO

• Proven experience in managing an operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment (ideally a grocery operation)
• The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
