Overview

Vestas is a major renewable energy solutions provider. Vestas NCE is responsible for sales, construction, and servicing of wind projects in NCE and other European Markets. Service Sales works with multiple functions in an international environment to deliver on Vestas “profitable growth” strategy.

Service Sales – Offshore Supply Chain Department

Region NCE > SBU NCE Service > NCE Supply Chain Warehouse Operations Offshore Fleet. The Vestas Offshore Supply Chain Department is responsible for the logistic and warehouse operations on board of the Service Operations Vessels and Jack‑Up Vessels. We support the Vestas Offshore Special Projects and Service Departments which install, service and maintain wind turbines in multiple windfarms across the European seas. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication are key to our success.

Responsibilities
  • Manage materials and spare parts: picking, issuing, receiving, and coordinating ad‑hoc deliveries to the wind farm.
  • Coordinate with service teams to ensure timely supply of tools, equipment, and spare parts through ongoing communication.
  • Maintain inventory and ERP records: stock control, material postings, and regular inventories in SAP.
  • Ensure compliance and safety: maintain order, cleanliness, and adherence to work safety requirements.
  • Handle logistics and customs: coordinate transport of goods and customs clearance during port calls.
  • Manage PPE and calibrated equipment: oversee testing, calibration, and lifecycle of hoists, tools, and devices.
  • Support site operations: assist with purchase requests, waste handling, and organizational tasks for service site management.
Qualifications
  • Education & Certification: apprenticeship or degree in warehouse management or logistics; offshore certification.
  • Experience: background in warehouse operations (wind industry experience is a plus); customs clearance knowledge beneficial.
  • Technical Skills: proficiency in SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, TMS, and ERP systems (SAP/AX).
  • Driving License: full, valid driving license.
  • Communication & Management: strong English communication skills; good office and site management abilities.
  • Planning & Compliance: excellent time management; adherence to local laws and regulations.
  • Additional Skills: ability to handle PPE and equipment processes, and support operational tasks effectively.

Additional Information

This role will be a 14/14 rotation role, and you will be required to stay on the Offshore Jack‑up Vessel during your rotation.
