Job summary

A manufacturing company in Woodbridge seeks a Warehouse Coordinator to assist in maintaining warehouse operations.   • Ensure proper labeling of skids.
  • Load shipments ensuring stability.

Job description
Responsibilities

The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in maintaining the following:

  • Build skids and crates as required and determined by the logistics and packaging teams.
  • Maintain skid inventory organized and stacked safely, both inside the facility and in our yard.
  • Assist Packaging with skeleton crating and final packaging.
  • Responsible for final inspection of packaged finished goods.
  • Ensure skids are clearly labeled with accurate delivery address.
  • Assist in staging loads.
  • Ensure stability of palletized goods.
  • Load LTL and FTL shipments while ensuring safe and stable loads for transport.
  • Hand off documentation to drivers and ensure shipments are signed for.
  • Assist with inventory checks.
  • Maintain finished goods racking/bin locations.
  • Assist in the transfer and paperwork of finished goods between shop and warehouse facilities.
The Skillset
  • Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse setting, preferably within a metal manufacturing environment.
  • Able to lift, carry, push and or pull objects weighing up to 50lbs.
  • A positive attitude toward teamwork and strong relational skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • High level of attendance.
  • Self-directed.
  • Day Shift – 7:30a.m. to 4:00p.m.
