Responsibilities
  • Assist in loading and unloading of vehicles, including forklift operation where needed.
  • Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts.
  • Pick items to fulfill customer orders.
  • Check incoming stock deliveries and put away in appropriate area.
  • Develop knowledge of product lines and services to make the most of customer interactions.
  • Develop great relationships with new and existing customers, both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
  • Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, making a great first impression on customers.
  • Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how to keep yourself and others safe at work, including at street chains, online stores and holiday agents.
Personal Qualities & Experience
  • Based in the Buckley area, with experience in the Construction Materials Industry or a Builder’s Merchant.
  • A flexible approach to work.
  • A great team player, ready to support colleagues and customers when needed.
  • A confident communicator, both over the phone and face‑to‑face.
  • Previous forklift experience, although training will be provided.
Job Details
  • Part‑time, 30 hours per week, with availability between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
