A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Ward Clerk for its Trauma & Orthopaedic Ward. The role serves as the first point of contact for patients, offering excellent customer service while managing administrative duties. Candidates should possess organizational skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Training will be provided for those new to the role. The Trauma & Orthopaedic Ward is an 22 bedded bust ward. The Ward Clerk position is first point of contact for patients, relatives and visitors and therefore must offer excellent customer service, which will include being polite, respectful and helpful at all times, and effectively deal with a diverse range of people in a sensitive and confidential manner. The successful candidate must always have a professional appearance and will provide an efficient and effective administration service to the ward team and contribute to the delivery of a consistently high standard of patient care. They will be expected to organise and prioritise their own workload. Good IT and organisational skills are required. Experience in administrative duties is an advantage. Previous Ward Clerk experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
