A mental health service provider is seeking a ward clerk to provide administrative support in Radlett. This full-time or part-time position involves managing care records and supporting daily operations alongside the nursing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in office environments, excellent Microsoft Office skills, and strong communication abilities. The role requires the right to work in the UK, with benefits including 27 days holiday and health services.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of normal duties and, as such, this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020. A Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service is required to check for any previous criminal convictions.

An opportunity has arisen for a full‑time or part‑time ward clerk on the new Dove ward. The post holder will work closely with the nursing team, provide effective administrative support to the unit, and demonstrate the Trust’s behaviours and values. The role is busy and varied and the duties include general administrative tasks, management of care records systems and supporting the day‑to‑day running of the unit. Excellent competence in Microsoft Office, the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. This role is NOT eligible for sponsorship; you must have the right to work in the UK. If you hold a graduate visa, you must have at least 12 months left before expiry.
