Meet the person you’ll be supporting
  • Who am I? I am a gentleman in my 70's who suffers auditory hallucinations and diabetes.
  • What challenges do I have? I can hear voices during the day, Well all the time really. They can be quite negative sometimes, so I may need reassurance or redirection from staff.
  • What are my aspirations? I would like to write a book one day about my life, my staff are currently helping me to do this.
  • What activities do I do? I like to watch movies and go out to the local shops.
  • How do I get out into my local community? I like to go for a walk or use public transport.
  • How would I describe myself? I am a friendly man who has a loving family. I love to tell interesting stories about my life.
  • What types of people do I get along with? People who are friendly, empathetic and caring.
  • What shifts do my team do? 9am-9pm and 9pm-9am (waking nights). I am supported on a 1:1 basis.
