Job summary

A care services provider in Ilkeston is seeking a Part Time Waking Night Care Assistant to support clients requiring complex care. The ideal candidate should have experience with tracheostomy, ventilation, and gastrostomy. Flexibility for overnight and occasional day shifts is essential. This role involves building rapport with the client and their family whilst providing essential support. Enjoyment of TV and PC games is a plus.

Qualifications

Our Group company: Harland Services, is recruiting for Part Time Waking Night Care Assistants to support the expansion of our service provision in Ilkeston.

Please note: there is no sponsorship availability for this role.

The client requires the candidate to have previous experience in complex care, in particular experience in using a tracheostomy, ventilation and gastrostomy.

Personal requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Full flexibility is required to meet the clients needs.
• Waking night shifts, 10pm-8am.
• Willing to work occasional day shifts to cover sickness and holiday.
• Part time role
• Must be comfortable around a large dog.
• Must be trustworthy and honest.
• Enjoy watching TV (Wrestling) and playing on the PC.
• Must have a sociable personality.
• Enjoy listening to music and dancing.
