Part Time, Permanent

We are looking to recruit Waking Nights Care Assistants at our Children's Home in our Short Breaks service. The role will be to support the care and development of up to 4 children/ young people away from their family homes, alongside a staff team to cover all hours, in a homely environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support the care and development of children/ young people.
  • Maintain the home, complete administrative tasks, and be available when children wake.
  • Share overall responsibility for the efficient running of the residential home under the supervision of Senior Residential Child Care Workers.
  • Ensure high quality residential services for disabled children within the policy framework of the Department.
Working Conditions
  • Participate in a rota pattern.
  • Subject to an enhanced DBS check.
