We are seeking Punjabi speaking Family and Carer Support Volunteers.
Substance misuse issues can have a huge impact on everyone, especially the family, friends and loved ones of those misusing alcohol/drugs. Loved ones can be left feeling angry, hurt, isolated, stigmatised and ashamed.
As a family and carer volunteer you will use your own experiences of living with or supporting someone with substance misuse issues to promote hope and provide support to others. You will offer a safe, non-judgmental and friendly space where they can express their anxieties and share their experiences.
We believe that having diverse people working as part of our team helps us provide the best possible experience for service users and to make Change Grow Live a great place to work. We actively encourage applications from people from all backgrounds.
The safety of vulnerable children, young people and adults is our absolute priority. We will support you to ensure you are equipped to support the safety of people who use our services and those around them, to the highest standard possible.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
