A local police authority is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join their Volunteer Police Cadet scheme as Unit Leaders. This role offers a chance to inspire young people while developing leadership skills. As a Unit Leader, you will lead a local cadet unit, plan sessions, and organise community events, while ensuring the welfare of cadets. Strong communication and a passion for supporting youth are key. Previous experience with youth organizations is preferred but not mandatory. Flexible working options are available.

As a Unit Leader, you will lead and manage a local cadet unit, supporting young people and adult volunteer leaders. You'll ensure the welfare and development of everyone in your unit, while maintaining compliance with safeguarding and organisational standards.

We need individuals with strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire young people. Previous experience working with youth or cadet organisations is desirable but not essential. Most importantly, you should share our values of respect, empathy, courage, and public service.
