Qualifications

• Must hold a valid MOT testing licence with an up-to-date training record.
• Prior experience as a Mot Vehicle Technician is advantageous.
• Must comply with Health and Safety and quality standards.

• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard.

Skills

Overview

Job Introduction: Due to continuing growth, the opportunity has arisen for a certificated MOT Tester to join the team at Listers VW Commercial Coventry, assisting with a variety of workshop support work alongside MOT Tests. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota basis. Our packages and pay plans are industry-leading and reflect each applicant's experience and skillset. We offer an excellent basic salary with uncapped OTE of £48,000 plus benefits. Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT Testing as part of the role.
• Be trained and able to operate additional systems, such as video reporting (CitNOW).
• Complete all paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
• Work closely with other members of the workshop team to continuously learn and share knowledge.
• Work within the DVSA framework.
• Maintain an understanding of Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, within required timescales and in accordance with established procedures and standards from both the Company and Ministry of Transport.

About you

• Valid Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence with DVSA and an up-to-date annual training record with passing assessment.
• Previous experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician; brand accreditations are beneficial but not essential, as brand training will be provided.
• Experience meeting Health and Safety and quality compliance standards.
• Full Driving Licence.
