Job summary

A recruitment agency in Northern Ireland is seeking a Seasonal Visitor Information Centre Assistant to provide exceptional customer service and support at the Lisburn Visitor Information Centre. Responsibilities include managing visitor enquiries, overseeing ticketing and bookings, and maintaining high-quality service standards. Candidates should possess 5 GCSEs at Grade A-C or equivalent or have 3 years of relevant customer service experience. This temporary role offers flexible hours at a competitive pay rate of £13.26 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade A-C, NVQ level 2, or 1 year in customer service.
  • Alternatively, 3 years of customer service experience is acceptable.
  • Experience ideally in a visitor-facing role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage visitor enquiries via various channels.
  • Provide information and advice to promote the area.
  • Handle accommodation bookings and maintain tourism records.
  • Conduct retail transactions and manage stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
