We have an exciting opportunity to become a key part of the Visitor Experience team at WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre.

As a Visitor Experience Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in providing both administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of day‑to‑day operations, as well as seasonal, special, and VIP events.

In this role, you’ll supervise the Administrative Assistant and Receptionist, while providing administrative and operational support to the Visitor Experience Manager. Working closely with the Visitor Experience Manager and Visitor Experience Officer, you’ll support the planning and delivery of daily activities and events throughout the year.

This is a full‑time position working 37.5 hours per week, 5 days from 7 including weekend and bank holiday working.

Qualifications
  • A Level or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. Events Management, Education, Communications, Tourism).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience in public engagement, ideally within a visitor attraction, arts, hospitality, or entertainment setting.
  • Experience organising events in a fast‑paced and high‑volume environment.
  • Office/admin experience with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience managing volunteers within a team setting.
