Overview

Salary: £ 13,405.62 per annum

Job Location: Guildford – Reeve Court

Hours: 20 hours per week

Role Summary

Are you customer focused, confident and logical with excellent communication skills? Grange Property Management are looking for a Visiting Scheme Manager to look after our scheme at Reeve Court in Guildford. With a ‘can do’ attitude you’ll prioritise and manage your own workload independently.

Responsibilities
  • Support residents in maintaining their well-being and independence in a lone‑working environment.
  • Manage your own workload independently and maintain a varied, customer‑facing schedule.
  • Oversee the general management of the building including organising repairs and maintenance of communal areas and the structure of the property.
  • Supervise contractors on annual contracts and coordinate communal cleaning, gardening and window cleaning.
  • Act as the first point of contact for resident complaints, leasehold enquiries and property alterations, advising and empathising with the resident age group (typically 60+).
  • Develop and nurture good working relationships with residents, contractors and clients.
  • Use IT applications such as Outlook and Word; maintain a good standard of IT knowledge.
  • Travel across the region as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience in building or property maintenance is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
  • Basic Criminal Record Check Clearance subject to posting.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and reside in England or Wales during employment.
  • Must be able to travel across the region as required.

The scheme is split into four blocks with communal gardens, a car park with a dedicated managers space, a communal lounge, a small kitchen, toilet and laundry room, a manager’s office and a small guest room.
