A leading independent school in the West End is seeking enthusiastic and experienced visiting music teachers to deliver one-to-one piano lessons to pupils from year 1 upwards. This role requires individuals who can inspire and engage students across all musical abilities, upholding the school's values of inclusion and accessibility. Applicants must have proven experience teaching piano to grade 8 and a strong background in music. The position offers flexibility as it is self-employed with lesson contracts directly with parents.
Claremont Fan Court School is seeking enthusiastic and experienced visiting music teachers to deliver one-to-one piano lessons from year 1 upwards, starting as soon as possible. Visiting Music Teachers (VMTs) are self-employed, and the contract for provision of lessons is made directly between parents/carers and the VMT.
We are looking for musicians who will uphold Claremont's values and are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where music is accessible for all. VMTs are expected to deliver high quality, enjoyable lessons, inspiring and engaging pupils of all musical abilities across the Junior and Senior School.
Closing date: 9.00am on Thursday 2 October 2025. Early applications are encouraged, and interviews may be conducted ahead of the closing date if suitable.
