Overview

Working alongside the head of department to raise the profile of Music at Wiseman School

Delivering one-to-one singing lessons to students from all year groups

Preparing students for graded instrumental examinations

Preparing GCSE students for completion of coursework performance

May include in the future, further opportunities to lead ensemble activities, to ensure that all learners fulfil their academic potential through a curriculum that is stimulating, balanced and supported by a rich variety of wider learning opportunities (Education for All = Achievement for All)

Site and Facilities

Our site following the completion of a recent BSF refurbishment programme we now have some brand new buildings. All of our buildings have been refurbished offering world class facilities to our staff and students.

Qualifications and Qualities

• A high level of expertise as a string teacher
• Experience delivering one-to-one lessons to students of secondary school age (11-18). This will be tested before appointment.
• Experience of working as part of a team within educational institutions
• Familiarity with the performance requirements of GCSE, Have energy, enthusiasm and experience of raising achievement with pupils of all abilities
• Have a passion for their subject
• Have the ability to motivate and inspire pupils to their full potential
• Have an unrelenting focus on the learning experience of all their classes
• Support the Catholic ethos of the School
