A local government council in Camden Town is seeking a Virtual School Advisory Teacher to champion the education of children in care. The role involves advocacy, direct support, and monitoring progress through tailored educational plans. The successful candidate will have teaching experience, ideally covering multiple key stages, and a commitment to helping these young individuals thrive academically. Champion the education of children in care, helping them build brighter futures. As a Virtual School Advisory Teacher, you'll be using your teaching experience to make a lasting difference. You'll work directly with children in care, alongside schools, carers and social workers, to make sure each young person gets the support they need to thrive in education - wherever they're placed.
This is a full-time, Bi-Borough role focused on making a meaningful difference in the lives of care-experienced young people. Whether working directly with young people or providing essential support behind the scenes, you will be part of a dedicated and passionate team. This is a hybrid position, with an expectation to be in a public-facing role three days per week.
