Job summary

A leading investment management group in London is seeking a Vice President - Portfolio Analytics to lead a small team and analyze various aspects of fund performance. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified ACA with a minimum of 5 years' experience in portfolio reporting and analysis within an investment firm or a 'Big 4' environment. This role offers a competitive salary plus bonus.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in a Portfolio Reporting & Analysis role within an investment management firm.
  • Experience in a 'Big 4' Manager/Senior Manager role in Deal Advisory, Transaction Services or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Lead role in analysing all aspects of fund performance.
  • Review performance calculations prepared by the team.
  • Prepare fund modelling to support investment lifecycle events.
  • Support the private equity valuation process.

Our client is a leading global investment management group. The firm's European private equity business is a well-established and mainstream investor, with several billion Euros in AUM and an excellent track record. As part of the continued growth of the firm, our client is strengthening its commitment to driving value within its portfolio companies through developing its investment reporting & analytics process to help achieve deeper insights and better information to guide decision-making.

We are recruiting a Vice President - Portfolio Analytics to manage a small team. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Playing a lead role in analysing all aspects of fund performance, ensuring analytics can deep dive into performance at firm, fund and investment level and also be analysed by geography, investment strategy, investor and other categories
  • Reviewing performance calculations prepared by the team
  • Preparing fund modelling to support investment lifecycle events
  • Supporting the privatr equity valuation process
  • Building excellent internal relationships to ensure effective collaboration - you will work closely with the investment team, investor relations, and the management team
  • Leading, mentoring and developing a small team

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified ACA. You will have at least 5 years' post-qualification experience in a Portfolio Reporting & Analysis role within an investment management firm or in a 'Big 4' Manager/Senior Manager role in Deal Advisory, Transaction Services or similar.
