Veterinary Surgeon – Maternity Cover
Westerham, Kent
Start Date: Monday 17th November 2025
Fixed-term until July 2026 (with potential for extension)
Are you a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon looking for a rewarding role within a supportive and friendly team? We have the perfect opportunity for you!
This well-established small animal practice in the beautiful town of Westerham, on the Kent/Surrey border, is seeking a Vet to join for a maternity cover. Just an hour from London, the location offers the best of both worlds—charming countryside and easy city access.
About the Role:
• Fixed-term maternity cover from 17th November 2025 to July 2026 (possibility of extension)
• 4-day week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (8:30am–6:30pm)
• 1 in 3 Saturdays: 8:30am–12:00pm (with time off in lieu)
• No out-of-hours or on-call
• Varied caseload including consultations and surgery in a well-equipped, busy practice
• Flexible working considered (e.g. 3 days/week + Saturday rota)
This is a close-knit team of 3 experienced vets, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, 2 receptionists, and a supportive Practice Manager. Patient care is at the heart of everything they do—they treat every pet as if they were their own.
