Overview

Are you looking for a role to support your development paying up to £80,000 (FTE, DOE) in a standalone spacious practice?

  • You will join our stand‑alone spacious practice in Swinton that has recently gone through a large refurbishment
  • You will join a dedicated team who work to support each other and their development
  • Consult only can be considered as someone with a medical bias would be preferable but not essential
  • Fantastic location with great transport links
  • Very supportive practice that are happy to help you pursue your special interests
  • An extra day off for your Birthday
  • This is ideally a full‑time position but part time can be considered
  • There is no OOH, Sundays or Bank Holidays
  • Saturdays worked on a 1:4 basis
  • 20-minute appointment time and 30 for complex cases
About Us

You will join our fantastic colleague in Swinton which currently consists of 3 experienced vets, each of which bring a fantastic skill set to the practice, including Orthopaedic Surgery, Internal medicine and one of our wonderful vets is currently doing a certificate in imaging. You will also be supported by 4 RVNs, 4 Client Care Advisers, a client care manager and a practice manager.

We also have access to travelling cardiologist and abdominal ultra‑sonographer meaning less referrals. Therefore, we can help support your development.

Our great location means we benefit from a good variety of cases and a wonderful loyal client base, and our well‑equipped surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards. Our practice is also located close to the network links, including the train station being across the road.

About you

You are a dynamic and proactive Veterinary Surgeon who ideally has a strong interest in medicine and enjoy working up cases. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player and enjoy the variety the role will bring.

If you are keen to develop within your own area of interest, we offer a generous CPD allowance and, for the right candidate, the opportunity to study for a certificate.
