This wonderful small animal practice in Leigh-on-Sea is currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their team!
By becoming part of the team, the successful candidate will work alongside four full-time veterinary surgeons, all dedicated to maintaining high standards of client and animal care. As this role is integral to the team, the ideal candidate will be adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of the practice.
The practice boasts excellent facilities and equipment, including digital X-ray, cardiopet, tonovet, a top-tier ultrasound suite (capable of Doppler), four consulting rooms, piped gas, and separate dog and cat wards. Additionally, the practice has access to a CT scanner at a nearby facility for internal referrals.
Leigh-on-Sea is a picturesque seaside location, just 45 minutes from London by train or car, and only 10 minutes from the airport. It has been voted as one of the best places to live in the UK, offering easy access to the town center with its coffee shops, bars, and is just a few minutes' walk from the beach.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience and possess strong medical and surgical skills, as well as excellent diagnostic abilities. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential.
This is a full-time role, working a maximum of 40 hours per week. The practice is open Monday to Friday (8:30 am to 7:00 pm), with 1 in 4 Saturdays (9:00 am to 3:00 pm) on a rota basis. There are no out-of-hours requirements, and the practice is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays, ensuring a great work/life balance!
