The Role
We are looking for a new Senior Veterinary Surgeon to help us forge a new path into modern veterinary practice, leading our clinical team and embracing 21st century veterinary medicine.

Not only do we need someone who is comfortable with consulting, sole charge, and general surgery, but we want someone with vision and ideas, who will join our tight-knit team and help us to achieve a gold standard in animal care. We are to be rebranded later this year, and there is no better time to join us to have an impact on the future direction of the practice.

We offer 9am-7pm workdays, no OOH, and no Sundays.

We can offer a fantastic location to work, situated in a popular retail park with free parking and both a supermarket and a 24-hour gym next door, based in the beautiful historic city of Salisbury surrounded by stunning countryside. The New Forest is on our doorstep, London is just over an hour away by train, and the coast is a 30-minute drive south.

The salary will be around £75,000 depending on experience, and there is the opportunity for practice ownership.

We are a busy small animal practice that operates with the benefit of a brand support office. We have a freshly refurbished practice with all the mod cons. We have an exceptional reputation, and staff that have been here since we opened 16 years ago. We’ve never needed to advertise for clients and value our loyal, long-standing client base with whom we’ve cultivated wonderful relationships. We offer surgical procedures, dental, digital x-ray, ultrasound, with some in-house lab testing facilities.

About You
You will have been qualified for a minimum of 5 years and have UK experience, be fluent in English if it isn’t your first language, and be driven, efficient, thorough, and enjoy the company of colleagues that strive for excellence.
