Overview

Veterinary Receptionist - Walton-On-Thames • Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom

Responsibilities
  • Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to clients and the best care possible to their pets, acting as a link between clients and the clinical team.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, their pets and the practice team to support success.
  • Deliver great client service during visits to ensure client satisfaction and encourage return visits.
  • Greet clients and offer support, guidance and expertise; manage payments and future bookings confidently.
  • Coordinate the smooth running of day-to-day practice routines using the online booking system; computer literacy is a must.
  • This role is full time, 40 hours per week, including 1 in 4 Saturdays with a day off in lieu.
Attributes / Qualifications
  • Be the friendly and welcoming face for clients and their pets.
  • Keep up to speed with practice services and available additional services to provide guidance.
  • Remain calm, attentive and focused on clients’ needs; bring enthusiasm and drive to the role.
  • Receptionist experience is preferred but not essential.

Your passion for service is matched with your love of pets.

  • Handle various situations, from comforting clients after difficult news to sharing in the joy of a puppy’s first vet visit.
  • Contribute to a welcoming and friendly atmosphere with colleagues.
