Your Role

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will deliver exceptional care to patients while supporting the veterinary team in a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Anaesthesia Management: Monitoring anaesthetics and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Clinical Documentation: Maintaining precise and thorough patient notes.
  • Treatment Delivery: Administering treatments as instructed by veterinarians.
  • Client Communication: Providing updates to pet owners with clarity and compassion.
  • Hygiene Standards: Keeping surgical rooms and equipment to the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Veterinary Assistance: Supporting during both routine and advanced procedures.
  • Animal Care: Quickly attending to the needs of any unsettled or distressed patients.
  • Stock Oversight: Monitoring and replenishing clinical supplies.
  • Pet Owner Support: Offering guidance on pet care, from routine advice to specialised tips.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience: A proven background in veterinary nursing, including nurse consults, GA monitoring, and surgical assistance.
  • Qualifications: A Veterinary Nursing Degree (or equivalent) and RCVS registration.
  • Teamwork: A collaborative and adaptable approach to working within a supportive team.
  • Compassion and Care: A commitment to providing exceptional service to patients and their owners.
