We are seeking a motivated and experienced Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our dedicated team in Horsham, West Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest veterinary technology and surrounded by a collaborative and supportive team.

Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)

The ideal candidate will be passionate about animal care, committed to professional development, and eager to progress within their career. Whether you choose a 4-day or 5-day week, you will be working within a vibrant and busy clinic, supported by a team of skilled vets, nurses, and Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs). We offer fantastic opportunities for learning, with generous CPD allowances and support for further qualifications or Certificates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care for inpatients and outpatients, ensuring a high standard of care and welfare.
  • Assist in surgical procedures, monitor anaesthetics, and provide post-operative care.
  • Conduct nurse consultations, offering advice on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and routine procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the veterinary team, providing support in diagnostics, treatments, and patient management.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records, ensuring excellent communication with both the veterinary team and clients.
  • Ensure the clinic runs smoothly during your shifts, contributing to the overall efficiency and care standards of the practice.
  • Participate in a 1:4 weekend rota with TOIL (Time Off In Lieu) for any weekend shifts worked.
Key Requirements
  • Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in a veterinary practice, with confidence in handling a variety of cases.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for delivering high standards of patient care.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage a varied caseload and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to embrace further training and development opportunities, including CPD and Certificates.
  • Flexibility to work within the weekend rota (1:4) and commitment to maintaining the high standards of the clinic.
  • Competitive salary of up to £36,000 per annum (Depending on Experience).
