Veterinary Nurse - Chichester

Salary: £28,000 – £33,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Full-time, 4-day week (40 hours), no routine out-of-hours

The Role

This is a rare opportunity to join a practice that puts people and patients first. A passionate and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse. The successful candidate will play an integral role in both first opinion and referral cases, supporting surgical, medical, diagnostic, and inpatient care.

Typical Duties
  • Providing exceptional nursing care to inpatients and surgical cases
  • Supporting emergency and referral work alongside the wider team
  • Running nurse consults and liaising with clients
  • Rotating between inpatient care, theatre, consults, and diagnostics
  • Supporting clinical development within the team if desired
Rota
  • 4 or 5 day week (40 hours total)
  • 8 - 10-hour shifts (varying between 7.30am–7.30pm with 1-hour lunch break)
  • Equal share of weekend/bank holiday inpatient cover
  • 2 days off in lieu for weekend shifts
  • No scheduled OOH; rare emergency backup cover as last resort only
