Job Description

Quality, Safety Health & Environment

  • Instil a culture of health and safety awareness and continuous improvement
  • Compliance with all relevant legislation (QMM, HSE, etc)
  • Relevant authorisations and permits.
  • RAMS and COSHH assessment and compliance for function activities.

What distinguishes you:

  • Responsible for definition and lead of Verification & Validation strategies for Garden projects
  • Strategically planning, steering and monitoring of all V&V activities (domains & sub-systems)
  • Innovating, managing and continuous improvement of test concepts for the responsible portfolio
  • Defining test environments, the test plan content and its schedule
  • Driving analysis, integrity and thoroughness of test results in partnership with systems / domain engineering
  • Problem solving in case of non-passed tests incl. monitoring of corrective actions
  • Participation and contribution in project design reviews & risk analysis activities
  • Responsible for communication with key stakeholders regarding Verification and Validation status
  • Experience in testing mechatronics products to defined test protocols.
  • Experience of managing an online tool for storage and maintenance of files.
  • Experience of reading international standards and interpreting requirements with regards to testing.
  • A hands-on approach.
  • Able to bridge gaps between testing team and project team.
  • Able to interpret data to draw conclusions.
  • Advanced level of MS Excel.
  • Strong problem solving with a creative flare.
  • Pro-active and self-motivated.
  • A willingness to act as Mentor to less experienced team members.
  • Understanding of DC electronics, current, voltage, loads etc.
  • An in-depth knowledge of testing products for EMC.
  • An in-depth knowledge of testing products for Outdoor Noise / operator ear.
  • An in-depth knowledge of SCF (safety critical functions)
  • An understanding in circuit board design.
  • An understanding of HALT (Highly accelerated lifetime testing)
Qualifications
  • University degree in E/E or mechanical engineering
  • Know-how/experience in system engineering of E/E systems
  • Experience in V&V, esp. of embedded-systems
  • Strong experience in development of test concepts and test specifications (test cases)
  • Strong in problem solving methods
  • Team player, clear concise communication style and analytic way of working
