Venue Sales Manager - Riverside East, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park | Full time / Permanent

Up to £48,000 + bonus and excellent benefits including hybrid working, 28 days annual leave, private healthcare, access to leading festivals & events, and more!

We’re on the hunt for a Venue Sales Manager to help drive commercial success at Riverside East, Peppermint’s bold new venue in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park -a 1000-capacity venue including premium terrace, bar/café space, and a large outdoor events area. With views over the water and a mix of indoor and outdoor options, it’s a standout space for everything from brand takeovers to private parties!

Venue Sales Manager - the role

In collaboration with the Head of Sales, you will execute the sales strategy bringing your insight and input to help shape success.

  • Growing and maintaining the client database, from direct corporates to creative agencies through to promoters.
  • Identifying and converting new business across events, partnerships, and brand activations, always seeking opportunities to grow the venue’s pipeline.
  • Driving proactive sales activity, including outreach, networking, prospecting, and attending industry events.
  • Managing all leads and sales activity, ensuring accurate and timely data recording and reporting.
  • Leading client site visits, articulating the venue’s offer, layout, supplier options, and logistical considerations.
  • Championing and implementing marketing initiatives to support sales, working alongside internal and external teams.
  • Ensuring all sales operations meet the highest standards of professionalism, accuracy, and guest experience.
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs, consistently monitoring performance against agreed business metrics.
  • Working alongside the venue operations team to ensure successful event delivery and handovers.
What we’re looking for
  • Demonstrated experience in outbound business development and managing the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting to closing.
  • Strong experience in a client-facing, sales manager role, ideally within events, hospitality, experiential marketing or similar.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business development mindset.
  • Confident communicator and relationship-builder.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales performance tracking.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable conducting site visits and selling creatively.
  • Experience managing high-value clients and complex bookings.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with wider teams.
