A busy franchised car dealership in Banbury is seeking a Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join their workshop team. The role involves carrying out servicing, repairs, and MOT tests to DVSA standards, requiring an active MOT Tester Licence and Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance. A competitive base salary of £40,000 is offered, with on-target earnings of £45,000, and great benefits including manufacturer training. Standard working hours are Mon-Fri, 8:00-17:30.

• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing & repairs to manufacturer standards.

• Perform cambelt, clutch, gearbox & engine repairs/replacements.
• Conduct electrical & mechanical diagnostics.
• Execute new car PDI’s & used car MPC’s.
• Perform warranty repairs.

Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester Responsibilities

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
• Active MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 & 7)
• Full UK Driving Licence
