Vehicle Technician/Mechanic (Family Business) – Chippenham, England

£40,000 - £(phone number removed)am - 5.30pm Mon to Friday + Company Benefits

Are you a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with experience as a certified MOT tester or similar with an NVQ Level 2 or 3 eager to work in an expanding family business that wants to continue building the right team and in it for the long run?

Do you want to join a successful family run company amongst specialised individuals who have been working together for more than 15 years and are keen to build strong relationships with its employees over a long period of time in an environment focused on providing the highest quality of customer service?

On offer is the opportunity to progress as a vehicle technician with an opportunity to develop towards becoming a head technician provided with long term support. The potential to gain qualifications paid for by the company and the chance to go on paid for courses.

In this role you will need to follow all safety guidelines and protocols when working on a range of vehicles. Confidently be able to diagnose faults both mechanically and electronically and carry out repairs on a variety of faults. Perform MOTs on vehicles and keep a record of all repair and maintenance work that has been carried out.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicles and a deep mechanical knowledge that has at least a few years\' experience and is able to hit the ground running. Looking for an MOT tester and a confident diagnostician able to work on a number of vehicle faults. Someone that puts an emphasis on a high standard of customer care and assuredly manages the needs of clients with a good level of communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify any potential safety issues and carry out vehicle inspections
• Safely utilise a variety of tools
• Perform MOTs on vehicles and keep a record of repair and maintenance work

The Role

• 30 - 5.30 Monday to Friday
• 2hrs overtime per week if required with the potential to do more
