Job summary

A well renowned dealership in Wilmslow is seeking a Vehicle Technician (Mechanic) to provide exceptional service by diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, holding a Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds Certification, and possess excellent customer service skills. This role offers an attractive salary package of up to £60,000 annually, alongside a supportive working environment and additional benefits like 25 days paid holiday.

Qualifications

Vehicle Technician (Mechanic)

Pembrook Resourcing are searching for a Vehicle Technician (mechanic) to join our client, a well renowned dealership.

You’ll use your proven previous experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic to service, diagnose, maintain, and repair customers' vehicles to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair issues with customer vehicles.
  • Plan and schedule repair procedures.
  • Explain to customers the work recommends/completed
  • Test functionality of vehicle parts and systems
  • Perform vehicle service & maintenance tasks (e.g oil changes, tyre rotation)
  • Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service.
  • Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts.
You will need
  • At least 2 years experience within a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic role
  • Have a minimum of Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds Certification
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Working knowledge and understanding of diagnostic tools
