Qualifications

  • IMI Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair required.
  • Previous experience in a main dealership or independent workshop is a must.
  • Valid UK driving licence is necessary.

Vehicle Technician – Prestige Main Dealership, Stockport

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 DOE + OTE £37,000 - £43,000 (with opportunity to earn more).

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of vehicles, always working to manufacturer standards. You will be expected to deliver high-quality workmanship, ensure vehicles are completed efficiently, and provide a first-class service to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs
  • Performing diagnostic and fault-finding work
  • Completing manufacturer training modules to stay up to date with the latest technology
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards
  • Working as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service
Qualifications & Experience Required
  • IMI Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealership or specialist independent workshop
  • Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical knowledge
  • A valid UK driving licence
