Job summary

An independent automotive specialist in Southampton is seeking a Senior Vehicle Technician. The ideal candidate will have NVQ level 3 or above and at least 5 years post-apprenticeship experience. Responsibilities include completing all mechanical work, undertaking diagnostics, and mentoring junior technicians. A basic salary of £40-£45k is offered for this Monday to Friday, 40-hour week position, along with additional benefits.

Job Opportunity

I have an established client in Southampton looking for a highly skilled technician to join their family business. The business is an independent specialist, covering mainly prestige European brands, and undertake performance and upgrade work. The ideal candidate for this position will be highly trained, ideally with Main Dealer and independent experience, and must be capable of undertaking all mechanical work as required, from engine swaps to basic servicing, as well as diagnostic and fault-finding duties. If you are looking for a friendly team atmosphere, a Monday to Friday 40 hour a week job, and have the required skills, do not delay, apply TODAY!!!

Responsibilities

• Complete all mechanical work to a high standard
• Undertake diagnostic and fault finding

• Work as part of the team

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or above

• Own tools and transport
• Full UK driving licence
