Job description

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking to join a successful, people-focused motor group with strong training and career progression? We're working with a well-established, award-winning automotive group to recruit a fully skilled Technician for their dealership in Reading, joining an experienced and supportive workshop team.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards while delivering a right first time approach to customer work.

  • Vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair
  • Accurate fault diagnosis using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Working towards productivity and efficiency targets
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service
  • Clear communication with colleagues and management

Main dealer experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

What We're Looking For
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Time-served technician with proven workshop experience
  • Confident using modern diagnostic tools
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence

  • 40-hour week: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm + alternate Saturdays
