Vehicle Technician

Location: Colchester

Salary: £38,000 plus - OTE £56,000

Hours: Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:30pm, Saturdays on rota 8:00am–1:00pm (1 in 3 as overtime)

We’re looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our busy workshop. As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll work alongside skilled colleagues, carrying out vehicle health checks, servicing, and repairs to the highest standards. You’ll use the latest diagnostic technology and have the opportunity to develop your skills with Hybrid & Electric vehicle training.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough vehicle health checks using modern diagnostic tools
  • Performing vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Carrying out authorised repairs and warranty work
  • Road testing vehicles to ensure all issues are resolved
  • Completing all relevant documentation accurately
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ambition, reliability, and a team-focused attitude
