Vascular surgery focuses on diseases of the vascular system (arteries and veins), largely managed via surgical intervention. We work with a collaborative approach across the team, including the vascular ward, multi-disciplinary team and consultants, to support knowledge and teaching for complex and challenging wounds and to coordinate vascular disease pathways. Over time you will progress to triaging referrals, assisting with teaching sessions and study days, providing expert advice and guidance to patients and colleagues, and managing our established critical limb ischaemia clinic for limb‑threatening conditions.
A passionate nurse who is keen to develop the specialist nursing role, flexible to the changing demands of the service and able to work autonomously or within the team. Excellent communication, organisational and prioritisation skills are required.
