Vaccines Account Manager - Home Based

  • Hybrid role encompassing including compliance and customer engagement
  • Initial 6 month contract

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new collaborative working team who are changing the way Adult Immunisation Programmes are delivered across the country.

This role will suit an individual with a desire to make a positive impact on patient outcomes across a large footprint and an ability to tailor their interactions with NHS decision makers, suppliers and internal stakeholders. In this role, you will work closely with a high performing matrix team to reduce health inequalities that arise from vaccine preventable diseases by supporting the increased uptake of national immunisation programmes, aligned to national guidance.

This is a hybrid role with the opportunity to work as part of a high performing team to both engage NHS stakeholders to generate new collaborative working opportunities, whilst also supporting the management of active collaborative working projects. You will have responsibility for the identification, external engagement, development, operational delivery, risk management and governance requirements of Vaccination service offers and activities.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Highly effective engagement and partnership working with the required level of NHS management (from PCN level to ICB/NHSE/LHE population decision makers and above)
  • Creation and approval of required documentation at all stages of project delivery, Collaborative Working (CW) documentation including Project Initiation Documents (PID)
  • Ensuring all CW activities are aligned with the ABPI code, SOPs and Governance framework
  • Active identification management and mitigation of all identified risks associated with current and proposed services up to and including enterprise level risk
  • Liaise with Healthcare Partnerships lead and team to facilitate insight sharing and Operational Excellence to accelerate document creation
  • Work closely with Healthcare Partnerships Team to support Third-Party service provider oversight. Project management of ongoing services with suppliers and including contract management
  • Service identification, contracting, design, operational planning and deployment, including all due diligence and code requirements
Experience and qualifications:
  • Experience of successful partnership working at all levels, including with senior management, within the NHS
  • High level of understanding of the ABPI Code of Practice and relevant SOPs with a particular emphasis on non-promotional activities and governance requirements for collaborative working
  • Ability to work effectively and ethically as part of a team. Experience of working and engaging cross-functionally including but not limited to; Medical, Legal, Safety, Compliance and Commercial Teams
  • Ability to complete supplier engagement and management activities
  • Good understanding of current relevant NHS policy and strategy
